Friends of Nosara is a network of non-profit organizations that elevates the impact of our members. Our vision is to bring together local leadership working in the areas of education, conservation, and essential services in our town, empower these leaders to maximize their effect, and facilitate collaboration to deal with different community issues such as wildlife conservation, recycling, animal care, security, fire incidents, social and cultural development and water quality.

International Animal Rescue

Established 4 years ago, IAR protects wildlife in Nosara, At the Michael Uren Rescue and Education Center, wildlife emergencies primarily related to electrocutions are attended to
